Molybdenum telluride sputtering targets(MoTe2)Product application |
Molybdenum telluride (MoTe2) is a layered two-dimensional structure film similar to graphene. Two-dimensional materials have been widely used in electrical, optical, electrochemical and biomedical fields due to their excellent thermal conductivity, high carrier mobility and other characteristics. Molybdenum telluride (MoTe2) is a unique material in transition metal chalcogenides (TMDs), which can stably exist in 2H, Td and 1T 'crystal phases. Its triangular cylindrical structure (2H-MoTe2) has attracted much attention due to its smaller band gap (about 1.1 eV) and higher theoretical migration rate (2500 cm2 · V-1 · S-1). The theoretical mobility of twisted octahedral molybdenum telluride (1T '- MoTe2) is as high as 4000 cm~2 · V-1 · S-1, the band gap is 60 meV, and the magnetoresistance can reach 16000% under a magnetic field of 14 T. In addition, theoretical calculations predict that the single-layer 1T '- MoTe2 is a 2D topological insulator and a type II Weyl semi metal, which has a very broad application prospect.
